Pet Sitter - Amy Bensel

Amy Bensel joins Town & Country from recently working at a local doggie day care where she managed the boarding facility and worked in day care. One of our every day dog walk clients, Jerry Parker’s mom, suggested that Amy might be perfect for Town & Country. And she is!

Amy grew up on a farm with horses, llamas, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and all imaginable kinds of farm animals. Animals have been a part of her life since the beginning.

Amy has worked for Frontier vet and is experienced with handling many different pets. She has the Red Cross pet first aid certification. Amy and her Border collie Miko are working on certification from the Delta society and AKC canine good citizen test. Miko and Amy have worked in agility and look forward to more activities in the future. Amy volunteers at the Hillsboro dog park. She and Miko find time to participate in animal related volunteer activities.

Amy is passionate about companion animals and has a natural affinity for them. We are proud to have her join our growing Town & Country group of pet sitters!

Amy's service area is Cedar Mill, Bethany ,Tanasborne, Orenco, Cedar Hills, El Monica, part of Beaverton and Forest Heights.
